CHARDHAM YATRA BY HELICOPTER

Day 1  Dehradun

Upon your arrival in Dehradun airport, you will meet our representative/driver at the airport who will take you to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 2  Dehradun – Yamunotri (By helicopter)

Early morning check out from Dehradun hotel & proceed to Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun which is the starting and ending point of this Yatra. Departure from Sahastradhara helipad at 07:00 AM. Arrival at the Yamunotri helipad at 07:45 AM. The ground staff will brief you about the entire trip and do’s and don’ts. Breakfast will be arranged at Kharsali and passengers are supposed to leave their hotel early in Dehradun. Upon arrival at Kharsali (The helipad for Yamunotri) passengers are welcomed by our ground staff, who will unload their baggage and carry it to your hotel. The Temple is a 6 Kms trek , which will be covered by Palki. Total journey will take approx. 5hour30min. (Generally, passengers will return to hotel by lunch time). Visit to Shani Temple, which is near to your hotel.Overnight stay at Yamunotri hotel.

 

Day 3  Yamunotri – Gangotri (By helicopter)

Departure from the Yamunotri helipad at 07:45 AM. Arrival at Harsil Helipad at 08:30 AM. Harsil is one of the most beautiful & picturesque valleys in Uttarakhand. Gangotri temple is approx. 22 Kms from Harsil helipad. Stay at Harsil is arranged at The Himalayan Nature Resort which is around 2 Kms from the helipad. We provide all the basic and leisure facilities for the tourists such as a premium accommodation with ensuite washrooms, delicious vegetarian food, short walks, local sightseeing and an evening bonfire in Gangotri Valley. Overnight stay at Harsil hotel.

 

Day 4  Gangotri – Kedarnath – Guptkashi (By helicopter)

Departure from the Harsil helipad at 09:00 AM. Arrival at Kedarnath Helipad at 10:00 AM. Surrounded by snowcapped peaks, Kedarnath is the most remote site among all Char Dhams in Uttarakhand. The Kedarnath temple, the holy shrine of Lord Shiva houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The temple lies at a distance of approximately 500m from the helipad and reaching it would take about 15 minutes. Kedarnath doesn’t have a night halt facility, once the Darshan is completed, we will return to Guptkashi and stay is arranged in Guptkashi / Sitapur. Passengers can visit ancient Triyuginarayan or Kalimath Mandir in the evening. Overnight stay at Guptkashi hotel.

 

Day 5  Guptkashi – Badrinath (By helicopter)

Departure from the Guptkashi helipad at 10:00 AM. Arrival at Badrinath Helipad at 11:00 AM. Upon arrival check in at Hotel Sarovar Portico, which is close to the temple. Later evening, visit of Mana village – Mana is the last village before the Mana Pass and is 24 kilometers from the border of India and Tibet. The village is at a distance of about 3 km from the Hindu Pilgrimage Badrinath and the two places are culturally connected with each other. Overnight stay at Badrinath hotel.

 

Day 6  Departure from Dehradun

Early morning, special Maha Abhishek Pooja starts at 0400AM sharp in the morning and last for 2 hours. We have arranged an opportunity for all our guests to sit in the temple and cherishes the Darshan of the Shringar of the deity from close quarters. Departure from Badrinath helipad at 11:30 AM. Arrival at Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun at 12:30 AM & you will be transferred to Dehradun airport for your onward journey.
