Itinerary
Day 01 :
IXB Airport / NJP Railway Station – Gangtok
IXB Airport/NJP Railway Station to Gangtok (Alt 5500Ft/1650M) 125 Kms in 4 hrs. Assistance at IXB Airport/NJP Railway Station on arrival and drive to Gangtok (Capital of Sikkim). Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by monasteries and orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveller's delight. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.
Day 02 :
Gangtok – Monasteries – Orchids – Tsongmo Lake – Baba Mandir – Nathula Pass
Excursion trip to Tsongmo Lake & Baba Mandir. Day excursion trip to Tsongmo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple (13,200 ft.), located 52 kms from Gangtok city. Tsongmo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Enroute visit to Nathula Pass. (Optional tour to Nathula Pass on the China Border can also be arranged, except Monday and Tuesday, for Indian Nationals on advance request.) Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.
Day 03 :
Gangtok – Pelling – Kanchenjunga – Temi Tea Garden – Siddheshwar Dham
Gangtok to Pelling (Alt 6100 ft), 135 Kms / 4.5 hrs via Namchi. After breakfast drive to Pelling in West Sikkim. Pelling is a serene mountain village situated at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters and offers spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable on direct payment basis for Chardham entrance.) Check in at the hotel. Evening is free at leisure.
Day 04 :
Pelling – Rimbi Waterfalls – Rock Garden – Khecheopari Lake – Pemayangtse Monastery
Pelling local sightseeing. After breakfast start for Pelling local tour covering Kanchenjunga Falls, Rimbi Water Falls, Rock Garden, Darap Village & Valley and Khecheopari Lake. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point and Rabdentse Palace Ruins. Evening is free at leisure.
Day 05 :
Pelling – Darjeeling
Pelling to Darjeeling (Alt 7100 Ft/2100M), 80 Kms in 3 hrs. After breakfast drive to Darjeeling, one of the most magnificent hill stations in the world. Check in at the hotel. Evening is free at leisure.
Day 06 :
Darjeeling – Tiger Hill Sunrise Point – Ghoom Monastery – Tenzing Rock
Darjeeling local sightseeing. Early morning at 04:00 hrs visit Tiger Hill Sunrise Point, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing covering Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tea Garden (Outer View), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple. Evening is free at leisure. Optional Toy Train (Joy Ride) can also be arranged subject to request and ticket availability at an additional cost.
Day 07 :
Darjeeling – IXB Airport / NJP Railway Station
Darjeeling to IXB Airport/NJP Railway Station – 90 Kms in 3 hrs. Morning will be free for packing and personal activities. Check out from the hotel and drive to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport.
Tour Ends with Sweet Memories.
